Appleby Golf Club
Situated alongside the A66 with easy access East and West, Appleby Golf Club can only be described as an ‘Inland Links Course’. From the course and the clubhouse you will enjoy a stunning panorama of the fells of the North Pennines, The Howgills and the Lake District Mountains.
The well appointed clubhouse, which has been extended and improved over the years includes a dining room, bar, TV lounge, snooker room and the Gilf Pearson lounge overlooking the 18th green with superb views of the Lake District Mountains and the Howgill Fells.
We offer various types of membership at Appleby Golf Club, and you will be assured of a friendly welcome to all of the sections that we run including Ramblers, Mens, Ladies and Juniors.

The Open Champion, Willie Fernie, used the contours of the land and the heather and bracken features to create our course to great effect. Sitting on a bedrock of sandstone, Appleby is free draining and so is playable all year round, which is a rare thing in Cumbria! The greens are renowned for offering the best throughout the year.
